# The site and the dashboard are built to WCAG 2.2 AA.

Every page is checked on every change, in the light theme and the dark one.

## The standard

WCAG 2.2 at level AA, for tollrelay.com and the dashboard at tollrelay.com/org.

## How it is checked

An automated accessibility scan runs over every page of the site and every screen of the dashboard, on test data, in both themes. Each page is scanned again at 375 pixels wide, the width of a phone, and fails if it scrolls sideways. Every pair of text and background colours is measured in both themes: 4.5 to 1 for text, and 3 to 1 for borders, buttons and the focus ring. Any failure stops the change.

## What is known

No failure against WCAG 2.2 AA is known as of 4 October 2026. One part is checked another way: the dashboard's menu on a phone, while it is open, is checked with a keyboard and by tests rather than by the scan.
